Scarborough Terms & Conditions Policy
Our Scarborough terms and conditions are as follows. Should you have any questions please contact us to discuss them:
Bookings:
This contract is between Pulse-Dance and the ‘group leader’ of the booking. The group leader is responsible for all members of their booking party, with regards to, but not exclusive to: names and individual’s details, genders, hotel breakages etc.
Deposits:
A non-refundable deposit of £20 per person will secure your place on this event.
Balance of payments:
The balance of your account is due by 17th March, 2024. Should you fail to pay promptly, your booking may be jeopardised.
Gender balancing:
Should a false booking be made, you firstly run the risk of being refused admission to the event and secondly no refund will be given.
Transfers & Cancellations:
Should you not be able to attend the event, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.
If you cancel six weeks before the first day of the event you will be refunded in full – less a single, one off, non-refundable deposit of £20.
If we can resell you booking, like for like, you will be refunded in full – less a single, one off, non-refundable deposit of £20.
Once we have paid for your accommodation the hotel wont refund us. Therefore – if we can only resell part of your booking (ie. two nights when you booked three) we will refund you the full amount we receive from the resale – less a single, one off, non-refundable deposit of £20.
If we are unable to resell your booking we will refund you £65, per person, as a good will gesture.
Should you wish to transfer your booking to another dancer, this will be at our discretion, subject to other dancers on our waiting list.
Dance Floors: Appropriate dance shoes will be required. Talc will not be permitted on any of the dance floors.

Free Dance Beat and Dance Workshop Schools
Make new friends, keep fit and learn one of the world’s favorite pastimes. Join our dance community and you’ll soon be dancing the night away. We hold regularly weekly classes and monthly workshops so you’ll be able to learn any of our fabulous dance styles. Salsa, Modern Jive, West Coast Swing and Argentine Tango. We also have regularly social events at the weekend and we even run an annual weekend holiday in Scarborough with over a hundred dancers having a fabulous time together. Don’t worry if you have two left feet – most people do when they start. We’ll quickly have you dancing confidently. Remember – we’ve been running classes for over 15 years – so we know how to get new dancers strutting their stuff. If you’ve thought about trying dance classes before, but never got round to it drop us a line and we’ll make youo most welcome. No partner needed – but if you have one that’s great to.
